CVx Host Hotel Restaurants Offer Dishes to Satisfy Anyone’s Palate

After attending an endless number of industry conferences over the years, among the top things repeat attendees remember is a restaurant or a specific meal they had in each city they’ve been. With CVx EXPO22 less than a month away, we thought it was a good time to inform you of the restaurants at the Talking Stick Resort – the home of CVx EXPO22.

Of course, the CVx EXPO22 is ChannelVision Magazine’s inaugural solo conference after a decade of co-locating with another industry show. CVx features two concurrent tracks of educational sessions that focus on the audiences of ChannelVision and RWS (Remote Work Solutions) magazines.

  • ChannelVision Track– Sales enablement, strategies and technologies to help Channel Partners capitalize on digital transformations
  • Remote Work Solutions Track– Opportunities and advice within the red-hot work-from-home and hybrid-work spaces.

In the meantime, our experience attending conferences for nearly a quarter of a century tells us that most networking and deal-making are done at a table breaking bread and toasting each other. So, at the Talking Stick, we begin with Tash. The dining experience here is for those who think food should be as inspired, innovative and courageous as they are. The Tash menu merges the freshness of local ingredients with the boldness of global inspiration to create truly transcendent dishes.

From the O’odham language spoken by members of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community. Tash, pronounced [TH-O-SH], translates to sun, day or time. The Tash menu is rooted in eclectic, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, but the restaurant’s cuisine blends multicultural influences to create a regional passport of vibrant flavors that engage the senses. To inspire great conversation, courses are all designed to be shared.

Chef Ramos is the mastermind behind Tash’s cuisine. As the grandson of a baker, Chef Ramos developed his culinary passion as a child in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, where his talents were nurtured and took root in family tradition.

He has been with Talking Stick Resort for a decade, previously holding positions at Wandering Horse Buffet and the award-winning restaurant Orange Sky.

The Orange Sky was created for those who want to experience the four elements — earth, water, air, and fire — distilled into a single culinary journey through its inspired dishes, curated cocktails, ethereal 360-degree views, and the intense passion that is put into making the experience magical.

Our menu is built on the principle of food sovereignty, which prioritizes local, sustainable and culturally rooted choices around growing and preparing food.

The Ocean Trail is designed to provide a taste of New Orleans in Scottsdale, located just off the casino floor on the main level. Ocean Trail serves up seafood with aromatic Creole spices and classic New Orleans favorites — a rarity among restaurants in the Phoenix area.

Items on the Ocean Trail menu include raw oysters, steamers, Cajun-style boils and of course clam chowder. Everything is made to your taste on a spiciness level between 1 and 10, freshly prepared in front of you at the restaurant’s open cooking station.

Ocean Trail also offers specialty cocktails and a happy hour drink menu.

The dining area of Ocean Trail is an exclusive 19-seat seafood food bar with sleek, modern décor. Ocean
