Speeding around the Octane Racing’s inside track, bumping the kart next to you and laughing all the way to the checkered flag makes participating in one of the CVx EXPO23 networking events a blast – thanks to FirstComm’s sponsorship.
Firstcomm is a technology solutions provider that offers cloud communications, data, voice, security and managed services to more than 35,000 businesses across the United States.
From high-end cloud communications (UCaaS) to software-defined networking (SD-WAN) and security, FirstComm offers everything a business needs to stay connected.
The power of FirstComm stems from a blend of robust managed solutions and world-class customer support.
This will be the second year racing takes place among CVx attendees at the Octane Raceway, about half-mile away from the conference venue host hotel, Talking Stick Resort and Casino. The green flag is expected to drop shortly after 6 p.m., Nov. 15.
FirstComm Vice President of Business Development Kevin Bartnicki said the company wanted to sponsor a networking event at CVx because he views Beka Business Media – publisher of ChannelVision Magazine – as a “leader in the telecom/channel media side of our industry.”
He said that as CVx readies its second conference, “I always want to be in at the ground floor for something new and innovative for the channel, and I do think this show and location are both.
“The time of year, location and potential new audience for my network make this a very intriguing venue,” Bartnicki said. “Our goal at First Comm is to not just be a sponsor but an advocate of CVx and help grow the event for the future.”
Octane Raceway’s big draw is the actual indoor racing. Because safety is paramount, a limited number of drivers can speed around the twisted track at one time. This also means the number of CVx attendees invited to attend the networking opportunity will be limited.
“At first, it will be by invite only,” Bartnicki explained. “We will do personal outreach from my channel managers to interesting new partners/customers. Based on the [initial] responses, we may open it up a little bit.”
He added Firstcomm also wants to be able to invite some attendees who visit the company’s booth – 4003 – on the exhibit floor.
FirstComm is hopeful the event will “further our band,” Bartnicki said. “In this case in a newer market, and to meet with new and existing channel partners and further those relationships.”
The CVxEXPO23 is unlike the typical channel partner conference because the value-added three-day event ensures all qualified channel partners* are admitted free, so they can find and meet the providers and vendors of products and services they don’t yet have in their portfolios.
The exhibition space at the Talking Stick Resort is small enough to keep the event intimate, and you never feel like you have to walk too far to get where you want to go.
Vendors receive a lot of value by exhibiting at CVx. With competitive booth rates, they are guaranteed chairs, tables and carpets – and never are nickeled and dimed to death. Internet access comes with the resort and the fee to add electricity is minimal. Plus, there is no registration fee for added staff that our vendors may have.
And CVx education classes – one floor below the trade show floor – are vetted carefully to ensure speakers are not wasting anyone’s time. Classes are designed to ensure the expert speakers provide information that enables better sales and business operations, so all sessions can help attendees recharge strategies for 2024.
Of course, CVx opens the educational classes to all registrants – sponsors, exhibitors and attendees. And when the exhibition floor is open, it’s also open to everyone, and that includes free food and drinks from complimentary breakfasts, lunches, snacks and beverages, because CVx has no tiered packages.
CVx EXPO23 is everything you could ask for in a value-packed, affordable, efficient and intimate partner event.
