Phoenix Native NASCAR Driver Circles Track for CVx

It was only fitting that NASCAR veteran driver J.J. Yeley’s No. 51 Ford Mustang sped around the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend bearing logos from ChannelVision Magazine and CVxEXPO23. After all, Yeley is a Phoenix native, and ChannelVision and CVx are part of the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

Yeley, who has been racing for more than 20 years, is a former “Triple Crown” champion with the USAC and has ranked among the top 16 drivers multiple times during the 2023 Cup Series season.

The race in Las Vegas was the sixth in the NASCAR Chase, the eight-week elimination tournament for a 2023 champion. Yeley, who is not among the qualified Chase drivers, drove his Mustang – which was co-sponsored by ConnectUS Wireless – and finished in 28th place among the 42 drivers who started the race.

The final two rounds of the Chase are Sunday at Homestead-Miami and Oct. 29 in Martinsville, Va. The NASCAR season ends Nov. 5 in another Phoenix suburb – Avondale – nine days before the beginning of CVx.

ConectUS Wireless, a Verizon Platinum Business Agent, made the arrangements for CVx and ChannelVision to participate with it in the sponsorship of Yele’s car. Attendees at the race and millions of television viewers were exposed to ConnectUS Wireless, ChannelVision and CVx, because of the popular race, won by Kyle Lason, who claimed a birth in the Championship Race in Phoenix.

ConnectUS Wireless also will be an exhibitor – booth 7005 – and speak at CVx, which takes place, Nov. 14-16 at the Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz. To receive a guaranteed CVx group rate discount on a room, you must book your stay by Friday.

CVx attracts ChannelVision’s readership base of tech industry partners that sell voice, data, access, managed and business services, whether cloud-based or on-premises, and those that work as qualified partners in these sectors.

The highlight of the three-day CVx – aside from fun networking events – is the carefully curated educational sessions focusing on “Sales & Marketing,” “Compliance & Finance” and “Technology Opportunities.”

Admission to CVxEXPO23 is free to qualified partners – agents, TSBs, MSPs, VARs, IT solution distributors, resellers, trusted advisors and vendor channel managers. For more information, registration and exhibitor information, visit www.cvxexpo.com.
